Description

This PSA aims to promote IPYL’s exchange programs for international youth and volunteers. It pictures five young people in a room, each wearing silver headphones, and absorbed in some activity (dancing, reading, writing, talking on a cell phone, etc.). A young person enters and tries to call their attention but loud music her drowns out. The next scene pictures her pulling a plug and reentering the room to find everyone shocked and dismayed that the music is gone. They take off their headphones. She holds her fist up for them to see. It has a Palestinian flag drawn on it. The young people look down at their hands and discover that they also have flags on their hands, representing their home countries. The Palestinian youth gathers the others, and leads them to the center of the room where they form a circle and raise their hands together toward the sky. The message reads, “Bringing the voice of Palestinian youth to the world.”
