Description

This PSA addresses violence and gender relations by picturing “panels” of silhouetted figures of a man and a woman negotiating with each other nonverbally, through the movements of their shadows. The figure of the man suggests abuse as he threatens the woman with his fist. The figure of the woman suggests emotional and physical pain. Then her hands move against the white sheet that conceals her, as though searching. In the next panel, her arms release, like a dancer finding freedom. In the final interaction, the shadow of the man and woman stand opposite each another, and a rose-colored flower appears between them. Their hands come together, and a message appears, “We always have the chance to talk.”
